Do you have a collection of ongoing related events? Try the Event Series module to collect events onto a single page and display upcoming and past events.

Stanford Event Series joined Stanford Sites during the Summer 2016 Updates. Previously it was only available to our Jumpstart clients, but high demand for this functionality on Stanford Sites, combined with our commitment to contributing back to the greater community brought this module to sites created on Stanford Sites.

Stanford Events is Stanford University's central calendar. It's widely used by departments, organizations, and student groups to promote events to the public and members of our campus community, and it provides a valuable resource for planning and scheduling. The challenge is cross-promoting events. In the past, sharing events content across multiple websites required re-typing. Ouch! We'll show you how to use the Stanford Events Importer module to save time and cross-promote events from multiple organizations.

OpenWeb Conference 2013

Over a weekend in mid-July several members of Stanford IT Services turned up at the OpenWeb conference held at the Paypal Town Hall in San Jose. This conference, the brain child of John Foliot, had its roots at Stanford. Although a variety of sessions were available, this conference seemed to concentrate on accessibility.

Stanford Events Importer 7.x-2.x

In November, 2012, SWS released a stable beta version of the Stanford Events Importer for Drupal 7. The Stanford Events Importer integrates with the XML feeds from events.stanford.edu and allows you to "automagically" import events into your Drupal site.
