Stanford Drupal Camp 2018 is already upon us!
The ninth annual Stanford Drupal Camp will be hosted at the Stanford Law School on April 6-7, 2018.

Director
Sara is the Director of Stanford Web Services (SWS). Sara sets the strategic and operational direction for the team, leading all business development, financial, technical, project management, staff and relationship management activities. Monitoring trends and evaluating emerging web technologies for adoption, Sara partners with leadership and stakeholders across the campus to establish a shared vision for our university web presence, services, and strategy - always with the aim of delivering high-performing, accessible, beautiful, and mobile responsive websites and applications in Drupal, WordPress, and other platforms.
Working on the web since 1997, Sara's interests include design thinking, organizational development, and content strategy. Her favorite thing about Drupal is that it's a spirited and global open source community.
Outside of Stanford, Sara can be found exploring the Bay Area with her husband and son. So far, the coolest hikes have been along the beautiful coast.

As 2017 draws to a close, the Stanford Web Services team is closing sprints, cleaning our desks (mostly), emptying inboxes, submitting our final timesheets, and hoping no one reports a bug in the next 24 hours. Goodbye 2017, hello winter break!
Stanford Sites Updates, February 2016

University IT will perform maintenance on the Stanford Sites Drupal hosting service on the following date:
-
Thursday, February 25, between 5-5:30 AM: including all personal sites hosted on people.stanford.edu and group and department sites hosted on sites.stanford.edu
This maintenance requires switching Stanford Sites to using its secondary database server in preparation for upcoming maintenance on the university's network. Planned changes should result in improved stability and faster performance for all websites hosted on Stanford Sites. This maintenance does not include Drupal core application or module updates.
Summer training opportunities

The relatively quiet summer quarter is underway at Stanford, and many folks are in the process of updating their websites for the coming academic year. Stanford is offering excellent new training opportunities to learn about essential tools, including Drupal, for website owners! There are courses to interest everyone, and now's the time to sign up.

Stanford Sites Critical Update, October 2014

A critical security update for Drupal 7.x was released today, October 15. University IT is conducting unscheduled maintenance for all websites hosted on the Stanford Sites Drupal hosting service to mitigate this vulnerability, and no further actions need to be taken by site owners at this time. More details on what was included in this critical update can be found at https://www.drupal.org/drupal-7.32.
