Alyssa joined Stanford Web Services in February 2016 after a career in audio-visual and electronic resource cataloging for public and academic libraries. Prior to joining SWS she worked at the Stanford Archive of Recorded Sound as the Project Sound Recording Cataloger where she spent a year cataloging player piano rolls, blogging about piano rolls, and developing local documentation. Before coming to Stanford she worked at Dayton Metro Libraries in Ohio as a Catalog Librarian. She holds a MLIS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a focus on metadata management, and a BA in Business Administration and French from Baldwin-Wallace College.
